Ah! Thanks for the link. I kept thinking it was just a music festival and the question "Why?" kept going through me. Now I know!
Sally Howard: There are loads of different areas at the festival, my son stays on the green fields area where they do a lot of rural crafts ~ a less bizarre part!

Thank you for the review Sally - exciting stuff! I thought of you yesterday when I saw on TV that Glasto 2014 sold out in about an hour. Did you manage to get yourself a ticket I wonder?
Sally Howard: As discussed smile
It all makes sense now...I think grin Must be quite an experience at night
Sally Howard: I think it would look amazing at night Bill but would hate the music, that nasty senseless MC stuff!! Ooo age is creeping up fast.
Just the place for something I have in mind for Bill.
Sally Howard: Ha ha, I bet you'd both love it Mick.

The same as Alan. Thanks for the link. Pirate radio and TV - ships off-shore transmitting into a country's air space. Porn was also transmitted in that way, along with music and other events. In hold you had to buy a special antennae, which was referred to as a sex rake. Pirate radio was on as you worked. Some things have changed.

Great shot.
Sally Howard: Gosh Louis, that sounds stranger than these sets! I'm glad it's changed.

I had no idea that there was something like this at the Festival, Sally
Sally Howard: There's so much there Lisl, all a little weird, which adds to the intrigued.

This is a side of Glastonbury I heard of, but I never visited. It looks like a film scenery! Later I'll read the link.
Sally Howard: It is scenery Philine and music is blasted out at night.

Now that is what I call Rough-Luxe!!!
Sally Howard: That's brilliant Mike, very fitting smile
It's really spectacular in an odd way.
Sally Howard: I quite agree Pauline.
If we didn't know the background story, Sally, it would appear there was a terrible disaster that took place here. Not what you picture when you think of Shangri-La.
Sally Howard: Yes, it was really interesting to see.
I had no idea this went on at Glastonbury, thanks for the article too! A great shot Sally smile
Sally Howard: A place of much entertainment Martin.
The link explains a lot, simply amazing
Sally Howard: It's quite an incredible place Martin.
Great series Sally! Thank you for the link.
Sally Howard: Thank you Richard.

Great shot. It's good to read the background to this, it certainly looks as if could provide plenty of photo opportunities smile
Sally Howard: Ha ha!! There was always something to catch Anne
You really got some beauties!

It must have been fun creating these sets ...and thanks for the background info' Sally.
That is som ca crash Sally
the public transport in my hometown would actually do some of these things, like rash driving and inadvertently launching their vehicles into the air
