Great sculpture ... Was this really at the festival? I'm confused ... thus I would love an full explanation please Sally.
Sally Howard: Good Grief, you're soooo demanding!!
Right....... Glastonbury festival site is ENORMOUS - more than a mile and a half across, with a perimeter of about eight and a half miles and is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.
These last two pics are from an area called Block9 (Not 'The Seven Circles of Hell' my daughter has corrected me!) with it's apocalyptic spectacle of the Underground.

Absolutely amazing! There was nothing like this at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival wink Makes me think of the film "The Taking of Pelham 123".
